Recommended Dosage:

Add 2 teaspoons to your favourite fruit juice, vegetable juice or yoghurt, and blend. 
Spirulina is a food source and not a concentrated nutrient.
Spirulina Power can be taken at any time. As this is a food in itself, try a teaspoon in juice between meals as a preventative against snacking. Taken 15 minutes before meals it will reduce the appetite and prevent overeating.
For sports people, try blending Spirulina with a glass of pineapple or apple juice as a quick pick-me-up and stamina enhancer before a workout or long run.

Precautions and Contraindications:

  • Larger quantities of Spirulina may turn bowel motions green. This is not a pathological condition, and is only due to the natural colouring of the Spirulina.
  • Very occasionally some people may have digestive disturbances on ingestion of Spirulina.
  • Discontinue and symptoms will cease.
  • Store in a cool dry place with lid tightly closed.
